Oregon Community Foundation Selects Owen Jones & Partners

After a formal review process, the Oregon Community Foundation has selected Owen Jones & Partners to deliver a new advertising campaign series to support the foundation’s efforts. The four-part advertising series is scheduled to launch in the winter of 2016, with the goal of creating brand awareness for the Foundation with prospective donors, professional advisors and general public.

Owen Jones & Partners background and experience, both in the non-profit and for-profit sectors, along with its clearly defined design aesthetic were key differentiating points for us when making our decision. We are very much looking forward to seeing Owen’s first round of designs.

Hence, the challenge presented to Owen by the Willamette Valley Wineries Association: get the word out, past the confines of Wine Spectator, that over the past four decades the pinot made in the Willamette Valley has been giving the French a run for their money. Building a Modern, Responsive Campaign for Urban Airship


When Urban Airship asked us to build an experience for their retail customers, we began by brainstorming ways to bring the concept of a retail experience to the web. Knowing that Retailers are some of the most design and message-savvy people around, we knew we had to create something that could stand next to Pinterest’s visual appeal while somehow capturing the users’ attention enough to convert. Responsive Web Design is not a Line Item


Owen works with a vast array of clients, and it’s not uncommon for us to tailor the scope of a project to meet our clients’ needs. We’re reasonably flexible like that. But we want our clients to know exactly what they’re getting, so we strive to create a clear understanding of the deliverables in each step of our process. Recently, however, we’ve noticed a few clients wondering what would happen to the budget if we built a site that “isn’t responsive.” Responsive Web Design has been a bit of a buzzword lately.
