As the number of devices we use to connect with grows, so does the complexity of delivering content. Desktop sites don’t generally scale down to a tablet or an iPhone and don’t take advantage of gestures for navigation or interactivity. Launching the Urban Airship

For the past few months we’ve been working with the great people over at Urban Airship, who make their magic just a few blocks up the road from Owen HQ in Portland. The result of our work together is the brand-flippin’ new UrbanAirship.com. But what you see on the site is just the tip of the zeppelin (actually, it’s not called a “tip” it’s called a “mooring point,” but that doesn’t really work with the idiom). Continue reading

Enter Digital Publishing Suite

Owen created three digital publications for Adobe in 2012.

As the iPad disrupted just about everything, Adobe was readying its revolutionary Digital Publishing Suite. Owen Jones got busy with the first beta previews of DPS. The potential was intoxicating.  The learning curve was as shallow as learning curves could be, and the results were so impressive that we did everything we could to learn more. Continue reading
